Your PTO will set up a special photo booth for families to take pictures. We are excited to welcome the new Desmares Dolphins to our school! 

Who: Desmares students in 3rd & 4th grades.

Join us on Tuesday, June 4 (5 - 7 pm), for a black-light neon art show in the FAD Cafeteria. The show will feature the masterpieces of our dolphins and an 80s photo booth.

Purchase your child's artwork before the show so you can enjoy the show without the wait! 

Please park in the parking lot and use the cafeteria doors to enter the Art Show!

We are collecting gently used children's books for Pre-K through fourth-grade students for a book swap event on June 17!

Donations of children's books in good condition can be dropped off at Desmares School’s Main Entrance by June 7.

Congratulations to your graduates!

The Stephen Austin Maszczak Scholarship Award started after FAD lost one of its Dolphins to a brain tumor in 2011. 

It is awarded to graduating students of Hunterdon Central Regional High School and is to be used for college or vocational school expenses. 

Please know that your donation will make a meaningful impact on former students and continue the remembrance of a very special Desmares student, Stephen Maszczak.

Every First Friday of the month is Spirit Day at Desmares!

Our Dolphins are encouraged to wear their FAD swag on spirit days to show their school pride!

Please send your PTO pictures of your Dolphins showing off their school pride to FADpto@gmail.com or post them on the Desmares PTO Facebook page.

Your PTO runs a friendly competition between classes on spirit days!

Teachers count the number of Dolphins wearing FAD or blue shirts on spirit days. 

The class with the highest score wins a trophy to keep for the whole month!

Date: Friday - June 7.

The 4th Grade Celebration will take place on Monday, June 10, on the school blacktop from noon until dismissal time (3:25 p.m.).

We will have different stations for our Dolphins to enjoy in addition to pizza for lunch & fruit popsicles.

Our 4th-grade students will come together on June 12 for a special time to sign each other's yearbooks along with their teachers. 

If you didn't order a yearbook for your 4th grader, please emailfadpto@gmail.comso that no one misses out on this special event. 

Preordered Yearbooks will be distributed to the students on Thursday, June 13.

Important:

* If your child attends YMCA Beforecare, you can come between 7:45 and 9 a.m. and leave anytime because your child will attend Beforecare! 

* If your child DOES NOT attend YMCA Beforecare, you can come between 7:45 and 9 a.m., but you can only leave at 8:45 am because students CANNOT go to their classrooms before that time!

Donuts & Coffee will be served.

A special photo booth will be available for special pictures.

Join us for a fun, family-friendly event on Friday, June 14, from 5 - 9 pm on the FAD Blacktop. 

All of our Desmares Dolphins will visit the book swap event on Monday, June 17, with their teachers to do some "shopping" and select some books to read over the summer.

You can pick up your preordered graduation yard signs and graduation cookies from Desmares School's Main Entrance on Monday, June 17.
