Your PTO organizes a monthly spirit day contest for our Desmares Dolphins! 

April winners were:

Kindergarten: Mrs. Jeges' Class, 1st: Mrs. Barragan's Class, 2nd: Mrs. Mulholland's Class, 3rd: Mrs. White's Class, 4th: Mrs. Sokoloski's Class! They received a trophy which they get to keep in the class for the whole month.

Your PTO organizes a monthly school store for our Desmares Dolphins in 1st - 4th grades. They get to shop for fun school supplies. Together, we raised $150 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO organizes an annual talent show for our 4th-grade Dolphins. This year it was virtual and our Dolphins did a great job showing off their talents. Your PTO put it together into a movie, you can watch ithere!

Your PTO offered our Desmares community a "Dolphin Canvas Painting Session" instructed by Hammer & Stain - Flemington. Together, we raised $266 for our school because of Desmares community support!

38 Dolphins gathered at the school foyer and enjoyed painting their Dolphins and got to spend a brief time with our school mascot "Flips" who surprised them with a visit!

Your PTO offered our Desmares community Maddalenas CheeseCakes. Together, we raised $400 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO offered our Desmares community Spring Flowers from Hionis Grenhouses. Together, we raised $776 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO organized a book drive for our Desmares community. Our Dolphins got to choose a book or two to take home and our teachers chose books for their classroom libraries as well. The rest of the books got donated to New Legacy Books where they will be redistributed to individuals who can give the books a new home. Together, we raised $101 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO organized a dine out at "Mi Sabor" for our Desmares community. Together, we raised $100 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO sponsors after-school clubs throughout the year instructed by our wonderful staff.

Art club - totem animals club took place this month.

It's time to have a digital sign at Desmares' entrance! Your PTO will be asking for donations towards the digital sign throughout the year.

The digital sign will help your PTO advertise FAD events promptly instead of our amazing parent volunteer changing it manually every month.

It might take us more than one year but together we can make it happen! You can donate to the digital sign fund by clicking here.

Flips visited 3 lucky Dolphins in April on their special day. Together, we raised $40 for our school because of Desmares community support!

The Stephen Austin Maszczak Scholarship Award started after FAD lost one of its dolphins to a brain tumor in 2011. 

It is awarded to graduating students of Hunterdon Central Regional High School and is to be used for college or vocational school expenses. Desmares former students are able to apply for this scholarship in early 2022 through the counseling office at HCHRS. Students are asked to name past and present teachers or administration that influenced them in some way, big or small. Please know that your donation is making a meaningful impact on a former student, as well as continuing remembrance of a very special Desmares student, Stephen Maszczak.
