Your PTO offered our Desmares community an "adopt a dolphin plushie and bring it to life" event at Chirp Workshop. Together, we raised $150 for our school because of Desmares community support!

30 Dolphins gathered at Chirp workshop and enjoyed stuffing their plushies!

Your PTO organized the annual walkathon where every Dolphin got to spend a brief part of the day walking a course full of fun activities with their classmates and FLIPS! Together, we raised $2,320 for our school because of Desmares community support!

For every $25 the Dolphins raised, they received a free ice cream from Humdoo with Desmares colored sprinkles!

Your PTO organizes a monthly spirit day contest for our Desmares Dolphins! 

March winners were:

Kindergarten: Mrs. Minch's Class, 1st: Ms. Parkhurst's Class, 2nd: Mrs. Hale's Class, 3rd: Mrs. Ostasiewski's Class, 4th: Mrs. Sokoloski's Class! They received a trophy which they get to keep in the class for the whole month.

Your PTO organized a book drive during March Reading Month. Together, we collected more than 1000 books because of Desmares community support! 

Your PTO offered our Desmares community Gertrude Hawk Spring Chocolates. Together, we raised $889 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO offered our Desmares community Shammy Shine Gift Cards. Together, we raised $400 for our school digital sign fund because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO organized our annual PICTO & Basket Raffle Event for our Desmares community. Together, we raised $7,884 for our school because of Desmares community support!

96 beautiful baskets were raffled and won by Desmares community.

Your PTO organized a dine-out at "Campania Pizza & Deli" for our Desmares community. Together, we raised $110 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO organizes a monthly school store for our Desmares Dolphins. Together, we raised $205 for our school because of Desmares community support!

Your PTO funded resizing our school garden at a cost of $1,000 and prepared it for the spring so our Dolphins can enjoy planting vegetables with their classmates because of Desmares community generosity!

It's time to have a digital sign at Desmares' entrance! Your PTO will be asking for donations towards the digital sign throughout the year.

The digital sign will help your PTO advertise FAD events promptly instead of our amazing parent volunteer changing it manually every month.

Flips visited 4 lucky Dolphins in March on their special day. Together, we raised $55 for our school because of Desmares community support!

The Stephen Austin Maszczak Scholarship Award started after FAD lost one of its dolphins to a brain tumor in 2011. 

It is awarded to graduating students of Hunterdon Central Regional High School and is to be used for college or vocational school expenses. Desmares former students are able to apply for this scholarship in early 2022 through the counseling office at HCHRS. Students are asked to name past and present teachers or administration that influenced them in some way, big or small. Please know that your donation is making a meaningful impact on a former student, as well as continuing remembrance of a very special Desmares student, Stephen Maszczak.
