We have the following exciting events coming up:
1- Read Across America Week from March 1st till March 5th!
Please encourage your Dolphins to join the celebration by participating in Spirit Week Activities and feel free to post pictures of your dolphins on FAD PTO Facebook Page:
Monday, March 1st: "Read Me Day"!
Wear a "book-related" t-shirt!
Tuesday, March 2nd: Guess Who?
Dress up like your favorite book character!
Wednesday, March 3rd: Let's get cozy!
It's Pajama Day, Stuffed Animal Day, and Mystery Reader Day!
Thursday, March 4th: Blue “Readers Unite†Day!
Wear blue for unity!
Friday, March 5th: Socks Off to Reading Day!
Wear your favorite pair of crazy socks for D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) Day!
2- Virtual Author Visit will take place on March 9th by Matthew McElligott!
With Mrs. Weil's help, Matt will meet with our dolphins on Zoom for an interactive session filled with reading, drawing, illustration with suggestions from students and time for Q&A.
3- Virtual Spring Book Fair with Scholastic Book Fairs!
It will take place from March 15th till March 28th with a big variety of great books for our dolphins!
In celebration of our upcoming Reading Month, your PTO will provide Dolphin Bookmarks for all our Dolphins (Hybrid & Virtual Students) along with pencils from FREA!
