Our Desmares School celebrated Read Across America during the month of March.

Our Dolphins enjoyed dressing up with the Spirit Days' Themes and doing all the fun activities our staff planned for them!

Every first Friday of the month is Spirit Day at Desmares! Our Dolphins showed their school pride and wore their FAD swag on March Spirit Day.

Your PTO runs the school store once a month (with the exception of June) during recess time. Our Dolphins (grades 1 - 4) enjoyed buying fun school supplies during our March school store.

Together, we raised $170 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Your PTO partnered with "Hionis Green Houses" and brought Spring Flowers to our Desmares Community. 

Together, we raised $180 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Our amazing School Librarian, Mrs. Weil organized for Brian Lies (the award-winning author/illustrator of many books for children) to come to our school and visit all our Dolphins.

Together, we spent $2,000 because of Desmares' Community support!

Your PTO organized a Spaghetti Dinner for our Desmares Community sponsored by Maschio's Food Services and served by our 4th graders. 

Together, we raised $350 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Our FAD Administration organized a Read-A-Thon for our Desmares Community during the month of March.

Together, we read 32,728 minutes & raised $3,872 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Your PTO partnered with "Chuck E. Cheese -Bridgewater" and organized a Fun Social Event for our Desmares Community. 

Together, we raised $120 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Your PTO partnered with "Our Amazing P.E. Department" and organized a Gymnastics Night for our Desmares Community. 

Big thanks to our P.E. Department for always organizing fun events for our Dolphins!

Your PTO partnered with "Buffalo Wild Wings-Flemington" and organized a Dine-Out for our Desmares Community.

Together, we raised $100 for our school & our Dolphins because of Desmares' Community support!

Your PTO partnered with "Scholastic Book Fairs" and brought Spring Book Fair to our Desmares Community.

Our Dolphins enjoyed shopping with their classmates during their library class and with their families during family shopping night.

It was an amazing event filled with winning PICTO prizes and amazing baskets.

Your PTO will sponsor after-school clubs throughout the year which will be run by our wonderful staff or a third-party company that is certified.

Kid Wizard, Build A Leprechaun Trap & Drawing Clubs took place this month.

Your PTO organized for Flips to visit two lucky Dolphins in March on their special day.

The Stephen Austin Maszczak Scholarship Award started after FAD lost one of its Dolphins to a brain tumor in 2011. 

It is awarded to graduating students of Hunterdon Central Regional High School and is to be used for college or vocational school expenses. Students are able to apply for this scholarship in early 2023 through the counseling office at HCHRS. Students are asked to name past and present teachers or administration that also influenced them in some way, big or small. Please know that your donation is making a meaningful impact on a former student, as well as continuing the remembrance of a very special Desmares student, Stephen Maszczak.

Together, we raised $950 so far for the scholarship fund because of Desmares' Community support! You can donate towards the scholarship on Membership Toolkit.

It's time to have a digital sign at the Desmares entrance! Your PTO will be asking for donations towards the digital sign throughout the year.

The digital sign will help your PTO advertise FAD events promptly instead of our amazing parent volunteer changing it manually whenever is needed.

It might take us more than one year but together we can make it happen! You can donate towards the digital sign on Membership Toolkit.
